Inspirer of the Month: Julia Hansen

Julia Hansen runs Julia H Keramik from her farm south of Gothenburg, where she lives with her family and houses both her workshop and a farm shop. Every piece is created here by hand, from scratch—slowly, meticulously, and with a sense for the unique. Julia's design language is characterized by simplicity, functionality, and warmth.

She produces functional stoneware and interior details that bear traces of craftsmanship in every detail. No two items are alike, and that very handmade quality is part of the charm. She is inspired by everyday moments and the little extra in a beautiful presentation.
