The wheel is a great tool for getting vertical, straight edges on the outside of your piece or using the rounded side to get a nice, even curve on the inside. It also works well on leather-hard clay during shaping as you can scrape the outside of your piece to get a smooth, scratchy surface.

The rail with spikes is ideal for use as a rasp when joining different parts or for making patterns.
