Your order can be picked up on-site at the Lervis ceramic studio, 10 km south of Hjo. The order can be picked up the following day, and the pickup room is open 24/7.

If you are a beginner, we recommend that you use a clay that works for several different techniques. It should contain approximately 25% grog with a particle size of up to 0.2 mm.
If you would like a light-colored clay, I recommend clay no. 254
If you would like a speckled clay, I recommend clay no. 930
Both of these also work well with all glazes. -

We ship orders on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays via DHL, while pallets are sometimes shipped via DSV. The delivery time is normally 2-4 business days within Sweden. Pallet shipments may take slightly longer.

No, ceramics must be fired in a special kiln at very high temperatures (over 1000°C–1300°C).
If you are working with air-drying clay, it does not need to be fired at all. Read more about clay no. 751. -
The choice of glaze depends on your clay and the desired effect. Please feel free to contact us – we will help you find the right glaze for your project and clay type.

Lervis offers a wide variety of workshops and courses. Everything from short beginner courses (Try throwing) to longer courses with guest teachers who are experts in various ceramic techniques.
